Installation & Maintenance Tips

1. Ensure feed water meets pre-treatment requirements: SDI ≤ 5, free-chlorine <0.1 ppm.

2. On initial startup, flush new elements at low pressure for ~15-25 minutes, then at full design pressure for ~60-90 minutes.

3. Monitor differential pressure, permeate conductivity, and flow rate—rising values may indicate fouling or scaling.

4. Clean the membrane as per the manufacturer’s chemical-cleaning guidance (pH and temperature limits).

5. Store spare elements wet or in 1% sodium bisulfite solution if unused for an extended period.
